2009-07-13 [Kaimee]: I wish it were easier to get gun licenses in Australia :( In the US it seems that heaps of people have guns, here, it's very, very few people and most of them are trained professionals, or have permits for pest control if they live near farms.

The US gov is making it harder to get guns (taxing the firearms and amo into the dirt)

2009-07-13 [Kaimee]: I learnt to shoot at the range, and on some friend's properties, but never got the license because they make it nigh on impossible >.< Several of my relatives are olympic shooters and archers, and I learnt archery as a kid and always wanted to get into the rifles. Sadly now my eyesight is getting increasingly terrible so I don't think I'm going to make quite the same skill bracket ;)
